About us

Owner Operator: Paul

From working high above the ground at the top of cell towers and powerlines to deep below the ocean, Paul has worked and welded in all conditions around the world. He is now applying those skills with his passion for art and design.

With two decades of expertise as a fabricator/welder, Paul specialises in creating unique pieces to suit his customers specific requirements. The design process involves working closely with the client and is an aspect of the work which Paul enjoys as much as the craftsmanship itself.

Paul and his young family have long enjoyed being in the stunning Queenstown Lakes District - keep an eye out for the incredible sculptures being created which complement this most beautiful part of the world.

We do a wide range of custom fabrication, from pieces in architecturally-designed homes through to bespoke business pieces.

Our Values

  • We highly value all of our relationships we build personally and professionally with Hazweld. Establishing meaningful and clear communication within our relationships enables us to deliver value and craft the best possible outcomes for our team and clients.

  • When working on a project with a client it is important for us to get a thorough understanding of what the client wants, then to share our knowledge and expertise as to how a potential project can be executed.

  • We are proud to craft art that is representative of some of the most iconic flora & fauna that is endemic to New Zealand such as our karearea. It is our hope that our art will raise questions and give opportunity to increase awareness of these beautiful creatures.
